So....as of today, I am 6 weeks pregnant! I was so surprised to find out you exsist! We decided we were ready to start the new part of our family being completely prepared to have to wait a long time for this all to work. Many doctors reminded me that at 36 it wasn't going to be as easy as it was when I was in my 20's. However....things all seem to work just fine! It was only one month!
As far as we know your due date is February 16/17th. I go to the first dr appt on Monday and they'll give me more information then.
Your big sister is elated about your arrival. She's already told me she's going to teach you your first words and how to walk and ride a bike. Remember that when she's screaming at you to get out of her room! :) Your big brother is indifferent - he seems to understand the idea but doesn't seem phased by it. Your Nana cried....usual....and Oma was in disbelief! Your Aunt Wendy screamed a four-letter-word and your Aunt Vonnie immediately went out and bought you your first outfit. Clearly you are a wanted and already loved baby!
We haven't decided if we want to know if you are a girl or boy yet -- part of us wants to wait and have a big surprise. Then I think how much fun it would be to plan for one or the other.....we'll see what happens.
We have some names picked out - I continue to banter with your daddy to see if he's SURE those are his final answers. He continues to tell me NO to every other name I throw at him. We're not sharing the names....everyone will just have to wait!
I can't wait to meet you and see you in your daddy's arms!
